Here at Second Stitch, we offer workshops that provide an opportunity for budding sewers to learn to sew a particular type of clothing, connect with each other and share experiences.

We’re particularly excited by the upcoming workshop on designing and producing your own swimwear and leotard.
Karen, one of the participants in last year's leotard sewing workshop, shared her experience with Second Stitch.
‘I had never used an overlocker before, but was keen to learn,' said Karen. 'The trainer was helpful and very knowledgeable. I learned more than I expected, including some tips and techniques for many of my sewing tasks.’
‘It was also lovely to be with such a generous group of students, we all shared ideas and had fun.’
